Community Petanque Project

What better way to spend a warm summer's evening than socialising with your friends and fellow villagers playing pétanque?

There is a proposal to build a pétanque area on the village playing field. It will be within the fenced area near to the shelter. The proposal has been give a provisional go ahead and permissions to make us of this area are in progress.

Southoe and Midloe Seed Exchange

We've all purchased packets of seeds and planted as many as we needed leaving some unused in the packet. The next year comes and you're unsure if the left over seeds will be any good and should you waste your time planting them? Put an end to wasted seeds and exchange them with villagers in a similar position through the seed exchange.

The seed exchange is located in the porch of St Leonard's Church. Use the little seed envelopes to take away as many seeds as you need and place your donated seeds in the appropriate drawer.
