Preparing for the main phase of reorganisation

As well as the huge amount of planning and permission works, a significant amount of preparation work has been carried out. This allows for the full reorganisation of the nave and addition of the additional facilities.

Tower work

In order for the toilets to be installed at the base of the bell tower significant structural work has been completed. This has included steal strengthening beams.

Connecting the water supply

St Leonards was not connected to mains water nor drains. Initial works completed mean there is now a drinking water standpipe and the preparatory works for the foul water drainage infrastructure.
