St Leonard's Register of Baptisms is going to be retired on grounds of ill health in the next few weeks. Having served as a record of village Christenings since January 1893, the beautiful book is not aging gracefully and the PCC has decided that a new register should be started.
This old register will be consigned to the Archives at Hunts DC for safe keeping and it will be possible to see it by arrangement.

A window in the aisle has been removed for renovation.
This renovation has been made possible by a generous private donation.
We look forward to having the panel returned to its former glory and to its home in St Leonard's Church where visitors can enjoy its subtle colours. This should happen in the next couple of weeks.
